Dr. Zafar is such a kind doctor and helped me get diagnosed with POTs, I went in a little worried they wouldn't take me seriously because I'm young but she has done everything she can to get me to right treatment and get me the help I need.
As a black woman often times we are brushed off by medical professionals. Dr. Zafar and her care team is absolutely amazing. Dr. Zafar listened to me and all of my concerns, she went beyond the scope of cardiology and referred me to appropriate specialists I needed. She made the calls necessary to get me seen as soon as possible by those specialists. She checked in with me and called me back when I had questions. She ran ALL the necessary tests to rule out different factors. She took her time and I’m forever grateful to her.

Dr Zafar is very through. We did a chemical stress test and echo cardio gram I was very pleased with how much time she spent to insure that I was ready for knee replacement surgery.
